I am an ambitious, driven young adult who wants to leave a mark in the digital space. I want to be a part of projects that inspire others and push the boundaries of what's been done before. I have no specific focus in mind and instead have been developing a broad skill-set so that I am adaptable and ready to take on any role in my career. Over time, I have been building a diverse set of technical skills across various digital mediums. To accompany this I have also studied a great deal into communication theory and business. As a result I have a mind for thinking and understanding that helps me utilize my technical skills in a unique and thoughtful way. I have completed a double degree at AUT (Auckland University of Technology) where I acquired: - Bachelor of Communications (Major in Digital Media) - Awarded Excellence in Communication Theory - Bachelor of Business Studies (Major in International Business) - Awarded Top Scholar in Business degree 2020 - I am currently completing a Graduate Diploma in Creative Technologies at Media Design School to learn more about Compositing (Nuke), Game Development (Unreal and Unity), and how to apply research to digital projects. Where I hope to be at the conclusion of these studies is in a place where my versatile, unique set of skills can be adapted to any given scenario or project within the digital space. I love new challenges and desire a career where fresh challenges are constantly in my path. This is partially why I am trying to be so diverse in my skill set, so that I have the foundation to pursue projects wherever they may lie. I would love to be apart of a team that is diving into new areas of digital, this might be pushing the boundaries of existing fields such as VFX, game development or VR/AR. Perhaps it is looking into something completely different or repurposing existing technology for new means. Regardless of the particular field, I think the area I would most thrive in is whichever one presents new and exciting challenges. Ones where I can utilize my diverse skills to produce projects and outcomes that are creative, well-thought out, and offer new insights to audiences and creatives alike. A little about me more personally: I am 23 years old and currently am living in New Zealand whilst I finish my year of post-graduate study. These studies are scheduled to be completed in July of 2022. At this point I am wide open to possibilities, both at home and overseas, although in a couple years time I definitely see myself living somewhere abroad. I love the outdoors, going on hikes or heading to the beach with my friends. I am a keen runner and sport enthusiast (hockey, basketball, skiing in particular). I also love watching movies, my favourite genre being sci-fi and fantasy. You'll also always find me laughing hysterically when I'm playing video games with my friends. Thanks for reading!
