Biography
I started my career in animation working as an Animation Development intern for FOX Entertainment in 2021. After my first internship, I was able to transfer from Howard University to Temple University to study Graphic and Interactive Design. After my transfer, I worked as a freelance character designer for Bento Box in Winter 2022 and as an Artist Intern on Velma for HBO Max under Warner Bros. Animation, designing incidentals, revising assets, and tracking artwork. Now as I'm in my junior year of undergrad, I'm focusing on creating a story portfolio while also developing my character design and illustration portfolios!
My main motivation for wanting to work in animation is to create the stories I always wanted to see as a kid. Even though we all live unique lives, our experiences can be universal and it is through sharing these stories that we understand more about each other. I hope to become a director and share these stories with a wider audience through animation, which is the perfect mediums for conveying these kinds of personal and creative stories through my love for illustration and design.
