Hi, I’m Nailin. I am an AUDHD artist who has been learning and self-studying traditional painting, photography, film, and comics since 10.

Biography

Born and raised in New York, my mother and father were both born on the island of Puerto Rico before moving to the states. I had been diagnosed with Autism at 18 months, going through sensory therapy. Bullying and isolation was common amongst students and perpetuated in my primary school, until moving to Florida.

For five years, I was accustomed to Florida's welcoming atmosphere and the friends I'd come to know with similar passion to create. I sadly had to move again this time to Puerto Rico. I had survived through Hurricane Maria through a full year power outage in my town. I ended up getting into watercolor, gouache, and acrylic through it to cope. I had been drawing for years since I was a baby, but this sparked my interest in traditional art which transcended into my digital style during quarantine.

I've practiced with my writing, art, practicing making comics, and more importantly paintings to be the best artist I can be. I'm hoping to gain some more teaching in background painting/plein air, character illustration, character design, and comics.
