I’ve loved art from a young age and was encouraged by my parents to express myself creatively. Therefore, I completed a Concept Art Higher Certificate Course with a focus on the animation industry and an Advertising Course after school. We covered all the fundamentals of design and became proficient in the Adobe Suite and Blender. 

This year I decided to take a year out to explore who I am and build soft skills that would help in my career. I traveled around Europe meeting distant relatives, volunteering on farms, and working in local businesses. My sketchbook has been my documentation of such. I am so grateful for the kindness and support I was given this year. I would happily spend the rest of my life paying that kindness forward.

I aim to use my creative skills and knowledge from my gap year to make an ecological impact. I want to design safe and accessible green spaces in urban settings, build community gardens, and create educational content on sustainable living. 
I want to continue to learn about the creative industry and where I fit in it. I believe my work does not reflect my aims yet. THU Career Camp is a great step towards reaching my dream career.
