Biography
My name is Munaum Bilal, and I am from Karachi, Pakistan. I came to the United States in 2016, where I joined the University of Charleston in 2016 for the Bachelor of Arts program. However, I later decided to transfer to Marshall University in 2018, where I studied study arts and film under the Bachelor of Arts Program and graduated in 2021. Currently, I am working as a story artist in freelance projects. My focus on storyboarding in animation is to give voice to the visual sequences for the audiences, whether it is about the character’s feelings or action gestures. As an artist, it allows me to try something different in an animated project from a creative point of view. My passion for love in animation started at a young age. For as long as I can remember, I can only remember the vibrantly colored worlds I used to watch every morning before school. Back in the era when animated characters felt more alive and dynamic than live action. I guess it was love at first sight with animation. I believe in art as an escapism...and what better escapism than fantasy in animation. I want the honor of being able to work on animations centered around fantastical epics or larger than life worlds and stories.
