Freelance contemporary dance artist from Tokyo. Misato started her dance training at age of 3. She started to present her choreography from 16 years old. Graduated from Ochanomizu University(Japan) with BA in Dance and Dance Education in 2016 and finished her MA in 2019. In 2017, she got a scholarship from the Japanese government and studied at Northern School of Contemporary Dance in the UK and finished MA Dance & Creative Enterprise with Distinction. In 2018 and 2019, she was invited to perform her solo at dance festival in Leicester, UK. In 2020, her multi-media performance project “HASHTAG 2.0” was funded by Agency for Cultural Affairs, Government of Japan. She is active on collaboration with artists from other art genres.
