Biography
Masters of Animation & VFX with Distinction recipient 2020, with 2 awards including the Duncan of Jordanstone Post Graduate Award and Award for Citizenship in the Academic Community.
Hello!
I was studying Architecture when I realised that it was time to make a change, and follow my dream of becoming a 3D Artist. I gained my BSc in Architecture and left to work in retail part-time while learning maya on my own at home. After a few years I applied to the Master's course in Dundee and was accepted, and here I am now!
It was a brave, any somewhat brash decision, but I knew it was right for me. I had very little experience in modelling before self-study, but it just felt right. The years I spent self-studying at home we're incredibly challenging. Not only the discipline to study with no guidance, but losing loved ones and feeling very alone. It was my desire and drive to one day work as a 3D artist that kept me going, and for that I am very thankful.
Now I'm ready for that next step - to work in the industry!
Hopefully we can talk soon!
