On how to pronounce my pseudonym: Daft (from DaftPunk's anonymous ethos) + Dysnomia (a moon on the dwarf planet Eris. Named after Lucy Lawless, Xena Warrior Princess actress. Dysnomia is the greek goddess of Lawlessness) = DaftDysnomia = My artistic expression on solitude, femininity, and spacey vibes! I traded my paintbrushes for an Apple pen and never looked back-- OCD and non-uniform painting materials don't mix well. I started in 2018 after a decade in the fashion industry, but found the world of digital art to be limitless, and this helped cultivate and express my love for the unexplored frontiers of space. As a business owner in the creative industry, I am not able to put my brain at rest, and have many projects in mind, but struggle to decide and focus... leaving the community building and marketing part of being an artist in the dust (RIP!) Through my artwork, I hope to give my audience a sense of wonder... and feel the way they did the first time they picked up their favourite book, or music album.
