Hi! I'm an artist and animator based in Canada. I like to bring happiness, fun, and healing to everyone who sees my creations. For the past couple years I've been working and studying in the UK - finishing up an animation internship at Cartoon Network in 2020. Since coming back to Canada, I've been working as a freelance 2D animator and director for many different companies. I mainly specialize in cel character animation, but I also like to try experimental approaches in my free time. I also paint & illustrate and my goal is to eventually move into more visual development, illustrator, and director roles in the future. Colour is a huge part of my personal art, and I love experimenting with different palettes. I see every part of my practice as connected - I've also been playing with adding animation elements into my paintings to show the passing of time inside one image. I also like to make comics, and explore different ways of telling visual stories. Creating art is a way for me to connect with my inner child, to heal and learn to love myself. For me, the magic of art is that it can turn negative experiences and emotions into something beautiful that may even help others. I want to continue to develop my artistic voice and tell stories that inspire and heal people.
