Biography
From a young age I always knew I wanted to create art for videogames, this is something what I try to followed up on. Did my first VMBO education as a multimedia student to get my head started into the game, Followed this up with a MBO education as a general game studie, this to feel what I truely wanted, code side or art side, went to HBO at the NHTV as a 3D visual artist student where I did my internship at Larian studios. Ended up at Mediamonks/ .Monks for now as a 3D visual artist, creating Vr experiences, Webgl experiences, visual art for commercials, and lots more. Working at mediamonk have given me the opportunity to create art for multiple clients like; Amazon, Netflix, Nike, Jack Daniels , Red bull and lot more to even speak about. Where Mediamonks work with tight deadlines and fast speed I had to adept myself in learning new Technique to get my work faster up to the correct standard for the client, adjust my old techniques and improve in my overall field of work. With the small team where we work in, we also do a lot of the 3d work from start to end, sculpting, Retope/Modeling, Unwrap & uv's, Texturing, Rendering, the only thing what I don't do is Animation and rigging, I do have the understanding of it, I can model to get the correct needed wireframes and models for it, but prever to leave the true rigging and animation up to those who can, and apply their magic touch to my work to end up with a nice and good looking end result. Currently due to covid, and figuring out how much space I need and what I prever I also change my own lifestyle. Currently in the last steps of moving into Vanlife living this to see more of the world, gain more experience, meet other artist, get more inspiration, and focus myself more on myself and my work to improve as a overall artist.
