Meagan Young is a multi-disciplined artist based in Dallas, TX. She graduated 2019 with a Bachelor of Arts and Visual Arts Minor from the Arts & Technology program at the University of Texas at Dallas. Through this program she was a part of two student directed CG shorts, Stargazer(2019), and Drift(2018). On these shorts, Meagan took on multiple roles including Visual Development, Surfacing/Texturing, Color Scripting, and CG Lighting/Compositing. Post-graduation, Meagan was hired as a Production Artist for the marketing department of Hi-Line, a hardware distributor in Dallas and also contracted for C Prompt Games on an upcoming RTS game. Currently, Meagan is employed as a 2D artist for LGT Development, a mobile slot game developer and is responsible for Art Direction, UI Design, and Illustration. Meagan's art style is often painterly with dramatic lighting and historical or fantasy subjects. She takes inspiration from several classical artists such as Mucha, Leyendecker, and Sargent, as well as modern contemporaries.
