Biography
I'm an artist and designer who has been principally working within games since 2008, I love pre-production and concept work, but also come from a pragmatic game-dev background working as a generalist with small teams, contributing 3D, 2D and UI assets for game projects. My work is largely stylized and I've been active in mobile games and smaller indie titles across my career.
15 years into my professional journey, I'm looking to improve my focus and portfolio in the area of concept art, as I'm really trying to increase the amount of drawing and painting I do professionally.
Now some way into my artistic career the value diversification is playing on my mind, alongside games I love creating small press comics and illustrations, but consistently my livelihood has been games work. I've worked as a freelancer, and as a full time employee at a mid-senior level, and even had a go at forming a start-up studio, all fruitful experiences in their own way! I love games and the design experience that has come from my career thus far, but am curious about how my games skillset may place me in looking for opportunities elsewhere, such as animation.
I'm currently actively seeking work, but also really interested opportunities for mentorship, and to learn a little more about improving my pre-production skills and portfolio, as well as broadening my exposure to other creative entertainment industries.
