Matt has been a Founder, Director, Entrepreneur, and Artist for over 25 years spanning Film, Games, XR, Digital Health, Education, and AI. He Co-Founded Akili Interactive, and created the World's first FDA approved, Doctor Prescribed video game in history, and was named in Newsweek's inaugural list of America's top 50 Disruptors.

Prior to Co-Founding Akili, Matt was Executive Art Director at LucasArts the video game division of Lucasfilm. Matt oversaw studio-wide art teams on multiple internal and external projects. In addition to LucasArts, he held leadership positions at Microsoft, Dreamworks, and Electronic Arts. Matt has shipped over 20 game titles including, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, Mercenaries, Star Wars: Battlefront, and the critically acclaimed Medal of Honor franchise. He has spent over seven years teaching college-level computer graphics courses at Cal State, The Academy of Art University and the Art Institute of San Francisco, and authored the book "Creating the Art of the Game" published in 2004.

Today Matt is consulting, advising, and designing for a range of companies and startups, and helping guide the ethical development of generative AI for Creatives
