Biography
After completing my bachelor's degree in architecture, I realized my deep-seated passion for creating 3D content using computers. I found immense joy in crafting digital worlds and bringing unreal visions to life. Initially, I began by creating home visualizations for various companies, but I soon recognized that I aspired to do more. This realization led me to focus on making my skills applicable to the film and animation industry.
My passion has always been all-encompassing, and I eagerly delved into learning about a wide range of aspects in computer graphics. I dedicated myself to acquiring knowledge through various courses, including those from reputable institutions like Gnomon and CGMA. Spending up to 10 hours a day in front of a screen became more than just a routine; it evolved into a true hobby. I consciously chose to redirect my time from playing video games to using that time to create something remarkable.
Despite limited opportunities in my home country of Iran, I made the bold decision to relocate to Vancouver, Canada. I secured a student visa and embarked on a two-year modeling program for film and animation at Langara College, where I recently completed my studies. It became evident to Langara College that my background in the industry was solid, prompting them to offer me a paid Teaching Assistant (TA) position. In this role, I have been instrumental in guiding and mentoring students to enhance their project outcomes.
With a three-year work permit in hand, I am actively searching for a full-time position in the industry. I am determined to bring my unwavering commitment, knowledge, and strong work ethic to the first company that decides to hire me. Despite my current situation, where I have been working in customer service to make a living, I devote my evenings to furthering my skills. I diligently watch tutorials until the late hours, striving to refine my workflow to align with industry demands. My recent mastery of Houdini is just one example of my ongoing efforts to broaden my skill set and make a significant impact in the field.
