Biography
Hi!
For the past year I've been freelancing for an American company called The Evidence Room. I graduated at Hertfordshire University in 2020, a year later I then started working for The Evidence Room which helped develop my skills further. Although freelancing has taught me a lot, settling to a company is my next step in my career. To be employed by a company I believe it will help me develop my skills further and pursue higher industry standard animations.
From working in groups I’ve learned how important the pipeline is to creating a successful film. Working in a fast industry pipeline for the past year I am confident in fulfilling future projects at the best of my ability. As you can see in my showreel, I like to put a lot of passion and dedication into my work to produce work at the best of my current ability. In my showreel are animations I've worked on alongside The Evidence Room. I always encourage getting as much feedback as possible off people as I always want to advance my work. Throughout my uni experience I've learnt to use the graph editor as part of my workflow to fix problems such as weight. I focus most of my time with the main poses in stepped through the viewport whilst having the render cam on the side to check if it creates a nice silhouette and arc. I use references for most of my animations, and the reference is in the Maya scene or on my second monitor. I’m always open minded to changing my setup to a reliable way or to speed up my workflow. In addition to this I’m familiar with using tools and code to make animation workflow easier and quicker. By speeding up my workflow I’m able to be more efficient and complete different shots at the same time.
Having the ability to create animations for a VFX/Featured animation company would be a dream! The thought of creating animation capable of being on a TV screen fully rendered aspires me to keep working at the best of my ability, so my animations can continue to grow. I appreciate your time reading this and I’m confident that if you choose me I'll work extremely hard so I can further my animation career.
I look forward to hearing from you.
