Born and raised in Poland. Spent the first 19 years of my life by the coast in a lovely city called Gdansk. Then after finishing high school, to step out of my comfort zone, I decided to study abroad. I graduated in 2022 with 1st class honours. BA Illustration and Animation degree at London Metropolitan University. Currently, I'm searching for entry level roles in animation and games, while working on personal projects, to further improve my skills. I speak and write fluently in English and Polish. I'm drawing digitally since 2015, and my software of choice is Clip Studio Paint. However, I can efficiently use Adobe Photoshop and Procreate too. Besides that, I know how to use other Adobe software such as Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effect and Audition. As well as have basic knowledge of Blender which I often use for setting more elaborate background references. Me focusing on digital art primarily does not mean that I gave up on traditional art as I love creating artworks with all kinds of media. I especially enjoy sketching traditionally, and often the scribbles and ideas from my sketchbooks later become fully-fledged illustrations. Online I use a pen name - ChiyoKyokane My work is mostly painterly digital illustrations. I find inspiration in everyday situations, dreams and emotions. The main technical focus of my artworks is using traditional techniques and rules in a digital environment. I spent most of my time either making illustrations or sketching. However, besides my love for drawing and creating I also like reading and collecting comics- manga in particular, playing video games and watching animations. In my spare time, I write poems and short stories.
