Hi! I'm Lorena Giostri, I’m a freelance designer and illustrator based in Brazil. I love to communicate, I’m passionate about social causes and I learn very fast. I believe that we can make a better world for ourselves and the kids thar will come in the future. So I always try to make a difference in my job to make this happen. I'm always trying to make my job more strategic, that's why I did an MBA in strategic design focused on Design thinking. I am very organized and reliable in the deadlines I set for my clients. I always try to do the best service and the best delivery through the correct project planning. In 2015 I had a project selected for the Brazilian Design Biennial. I've illustrated for major YouTube channels brands, such as Nostalgia, Imaginago and Nerdland. I was the winner of the brazillian Spoleto’s Illustrated Plates Contest in 2018 and I was a judge at the same contest in the 2019 edition. Also in 2019, I published a book in partnership with the NGO Plan International recounting the story of Rapunzel in a feminist way, which will have the profit reverted to the study of needy girls and young people. This project was also launched in other languages for all of South America. I was at the Artist’s Alley in CCXP19 launching my first Graphic Novel called Pipo and the crowdfunding campaign was a success reaching 182% of the initial budget. With the campaign we were also able to donate more than 40kg of dog food to rescue institution. One of my dearest clients in brazil is the Elephant Sanctuary of Brazil, for whom have illustrated for some product collections to raise money for the maintenance of the sanctuary.
