Biography
I always loved to draw and spend my free time copying from cartoons I watched at childhood, like dragon ball and batman animated series.
Unfortunately I didn't even know that work with art was possible for me in Brazil and I was encouraged to go to college and become a lawyer or engineer.
At University I met the Fellowship of the Game, a group of students that develop indie games and I began to know this new opportunity.
I developed some games with my new friends as 2d artist, participated of game jams and so on. Even so I kept dealing with art as a hobbie, I already had put a lot of effort in engenireeng study to just give up and try something completly new. Turned out just few of my friends from college are working with games today and none of them with art.
I graduated in eletrical engenieering and after 2 boring years working with it I began to ear podcasts where artists I admire told your histories and this inspired me. One of them in particular leave your job at 40 yeas old to become artist, so I realized I haden't excuses.
So here I am, a electrical engineer looking for opportunities to change career and work with art. I haven't experience with working for professional studios nether a degree related with art and I began studying 3D a year ago, but I had some experience with indie games and if I dropped from a engenieering careear is because I am really foucused on it.
