Biography
My name is Ivan Coutinho, but I call myself as artist KipCombat.
I started drawing after observing a friend of mine. He showed me hes drawings of war of Alien the movie and the Star Wars.
In that time drawing started to bloom and the talent came after. Before that, when I was 6 or 5 years old I found out I had severe dyslexia and drawing helped me to focus my mind – is like creating a ladder against that wall.
All this magic started to happen in Portugal/ Nazaré.
I discovered digital art with 17 years old and started working with digital art when I was 20 years old. I moved on to Mirandela to study video games in Instituto Politécnico de Bragança I studied there for 4 months, then I move on to Portalegre to studie animation in Instituto de Politécnico de Portalegre I studied there for 4 years and final I graduate with my last project Bores
After that the sail didn’t stop blowing!

- I work with a Brand "LEIRIA SURFERS" for illustrations
- I work in the video game as animater and directer animater, I created a team to work with me in the game “The Onlife Game” where we plan all the cutscenes for every action of the game. The game had presence in festival of STRP, in Holand.
- I'm working with a "LMK Dance School" to creat connection with 2D Animation with dance and Mapping
