My name is Katrin and I am an LA-based Bulgarian Storyboard Artist with a passion for comedy. I graduated from Ringling College of Art and Design in 2022 with a BFA in Computer Animation and a minor in Film Studies. I have worked as a Storyboard Revisionist on a 3D-animated comedy series at Nickelodeon, as a Storyboard Artist on a 2D-animated musical series at Echo Bridge Pictures and as a Storyboard Intern on a 2D-animated actions series at Chase a Cloud.

I've lived in three countries in my life and I have had to learn several languages as a result, as well as adapt to different cultures. Growing up, I always loved to tell stories in any way that I could. It was my way of expressing how moving from one country to another made me feel. I wanted to be a filmmaker, a writer, an actress, a painter... Anything that would allow me to tell stories that could have an impact on people. Growing up in the 00s, there were tons of amazing shows and films that I was influenced by, such as The Powerpuff Girls, Phineas and Ferb, The Emperor's New Groove and Shrek 2. Through watching cartoons, I discovered my passion for animation early on. It combines everything I love and comedy is my comfort zone. Now, I feel extremely lucky that I get to use my skills as a storyboard artist to make people laugh.
