Katie McIntyre is an award-nominated director, creative director, designer, and 3D/VFX artist whose work explores a philosophy she calls Feminine Futurism: creating new visions of technology, culture, and the future through a distinctly feminine lens.

After beginning her career at Google Creative Lab and becoming an Art Director at Apple at 21, Katie founded Katie McIntyre Studio. Her work spans film, live performance, visual effects, innovative couture, and emerging technology, with collaborators including Adobe, Nike, Cardi B, Nicki Minaj, The Weeknd, Shenseea, Normani, Bebe Rexha, David Guetta, Aaliyah, Latto, and Lizzo.

Her credits include creative direction and monumental 3D animated visuals for Coachella’s main stage; Grammy-nominated album campaigns; album artwork held in The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s permanent collection; and an award-nominated film created through her studio’s official partnership with Adobe. She is also developing a contemporary live-show and directing a film reinterpretation of phantom of the opera in collaboration with a world-renowned composer and a leading European electronic artist.

Katie is also the founder and lead designer of Matriarch, an investor backed automotive company developing Dakini, a women-centered electric supercar designed around female safety, ergonomics, performance, and emotional experience. Across every medium, her work uses design and technology to imagine futures in which femininity is foundational rather than decorative.
