Hi! I’m Kai, an 18-year-old Portuguese animator and digital artist. I graduated from EPI as an Animation & Digital Artist and am currently studying at ETIC.

I’m passionate about animation, illustration, character design, and visual storytelling, with a particular interest in bringing characters and stories to life through movement and expression. I enjoy exploring different styles and approaches, from developing characters and environments to writing stories and creating animated sequences.

Alongside my work in animation and illustration, I have experience in acting and live performance, which has helped me develop a strong understanding of character, emotion, movement, and storytelling. I was one of the leads in the short film Neko and am also part of Antigonae, a theatre project. One of my student films was selected for Animagoria, an animation festival in Faro.

I also play the cello, which has given me another way of exploring rhythm, timing, and creative expression.

I’m always looking to learn, experiment, and develop my skills through new creative projects and collaborations.
