Growing up in vibrant Johannesburg, South Africa, my childhood was steeped in animated worlds. I was a passionate gamer, immersing myself in open-world action games like 'Assassin's Creed' and 'Dragon Age.' During my high school years, I aspired to become a Game Designer. I was also captivated by the likes of 'Ben 10,' as well as the fantastical adventures of Japanese anime, such as 'Naruto' and 'Dragon Ball Z.' This early fascination with animation and storytelling set the course for my future.

After completing high school, I embarked on a journey of artistic discovery. My formal education took me to the Open Window Institute, where I initially pursued 3D Animation under the Bachelor of Film Arts program. It was during this time that I realized my true passion lay in the realm of film.

My career began to take shape during my second year of college. I kick-started my professional journey as a freelance 3D Animator at BlackBelt Studios in Randburg, South Africa. After graduating, I delved into the world of 2D Animation and Storyboarding, gaining invaluable experience during my internship at Mollo Animation Academy.

Beyond the world of animation, I find solace and precision in archery, a hobby that has become an integral part of my life. It's a pursuit that perfectly complements the creative chaos of my professional world.

One significant milestone in my career was the honor of representing my company at the Emerging Valley Business Forum in Marseilles, France, in November 2022. This gathering united entrepreneurs from diverse African countries, fostering collaboration and support through the ANIMA Investment Network.

As I look to the future, my ultimate ambition is to ascend to the role of an Animation Director and steer my very own animation studio. In this creative realm, we shall breathe life into narratives that resonate deeply with our hearts, much akin to the visionary storytelling of Hayao Miyazaki.

My ardor for storyboarding emanates from its unique role as the bridge between the Director's and Writer's vision, translating their ideas into compelling visual imagery. I firmly believe that the pursuit of learning and mastering storyboarding is destined to be a demanding yet profoundly rewarding odyssey in my artistic career.
