Justin is an Emmy-winning and Annie-nominated Art Director and Designer working in the Animation Industry. Originally from Lubbock, TX, USA, he has been making art his whole life, including while earning a BA from Middlebury College in VT, where he was a Theater Major and Studio Art minor. After college he worked for several years in the Seattle, WA theater and art gallery worlds, before moving to San Francisco, CA to earn his MFA in Visual Development & Animation from the Academy of Art. Since then he has lived with his growing family in Los Angeles, CA, where he has worked for studios and with clients such as Disney, Netflix, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, DreamWorks, Jim Henson, WB, and many more. His work includes Character and Background Design and Paint, Art Direction and Production Design, Visual Development, Team Building and Mentoring, and overall World-Building and oversight.
