Joy Yang is a New York-based illustrator with a background in book publishing, editorial, and surface design. Their personal work focuses on normalizing queer existence in society; first with the successful 2018 kickstarter of children's book "Wendell the Wendigo" with a nonbinary main character, soon to be followed with a 2019 book launch of "The Fabric Merchant's Son". They also run a small business merchandising their artwork, in the forms of bags, shirts, charms, stickers, and prints.
