Hi,

My name is José Luis Estefanía, I was born and I live in Barcelona (Spain). After 20 years in the CG industry, I’ ve had the opportunity to work in a variety of projects such as feature films, commercials, and TV series.

Although I started as a generalist for the first few years, my interest shifted towards lighting and textures over the last decade. I've mostly worked in film vfx and commercials, and that's why I've been considering a career change for some time now. Over the past few years, I've been amazed by the technical and artistic level achieved in real-time rendering, and I'm eager to try out that technology and contribute my experience to the world of games.

I see diversity and inclusion are fundamental pillars of King, which is absolutelly fantastic. Having the will to have a diverse staff building games, gathering people from other fields, such as mine, it's something worthwhile and should be appreciated.
