Born and raised in the island of Puerto Rico, I was surrounded by art, culture and history that helped me shape my artistic voice which later down the line gave me the inspiration for my art. I then decided to study art in highschool where I chose to major in Illustration because I always wanted to work in games hence why I took the visual development branch of the major where I was taught the process and gained the experience of working not only with a team, but also an art director. Later, in my senior year I decided to use my childhood and my culture as inspiration for my thesis where I created my book "Taiku" where I designed a world inspired by the island that I was raised in.
