Jessie is a bedding Zambian film Director and Writer. She is known for directing and writing award winning Imagination, a fantasy short film inspired by the dreams of children. She also wrote and directed empowering film Between Rings, about Zambia’s first woman boxer, Esther Phiri. Beyond writing and directing, Jessie is inspired to tell African stories from her own perspective and create the necessary presentation the continent has lacked for years.
