I love drawing since I can remember. I never thought this could be a “real job” when I was younger. My parents did not supported art as a career option because they too didn’t know about the possibilities at the time. I studied design and although it made me happy for using creativity, I felt something was missing. Later, when I was older and with means to support myself and study something else, I finally started learning drawing properly, I started painting and getting in touch with all kinds of visual arts I could, and as you say, with my tribe. A few years later and after a lot of hard work, I had the chance to work with games, editorials, publicity, marketing, animation, in different roles. Today I work as a marketing artist in a game company, and everyday I feel very lucky to work in a field where I can learn and practise all the time, use my creativity and be part of amazing projects. I didn’t know what I could achieve with art, but I’m glad and grateful that I could take this path, and I’m very excited to see what new places it will take me.
