Biography

Jared Lee is the creative mind behind Grim Film. What started as a youtube channel in 2011 evolved into a production house which puts stories that matters in the forefront.

With a strong passion for film and animation, his recent achievements includes a sci-fi drama titled 'Influencer' which premiered at Tokyo Short Shorts and he also recently won the Best Animated Film award with " Horologist" at USA Film Festival, San Diego Comic-Con and Atlantic Bridge Film Fest. His graphic novel ‘Horologist’ was nominated for the Will Eisner Awards 2024 for Best One Shot.

Having beaten cancer and recovering from a recent accident, Jared resumes his dream chase and he won't be stopping anytime soon. His strength lies in translating imagination into visual art through film, animation, and more.
