Writer Janet Change Balda’s background is in the glamorous film industry, where she mostly analyzed bad scripts until 2am.

She has a BA in Cinema-Television Production and Minor in Screenwriting from USC, and a Grand Diplôme and Diplôme de Boulangerie from Le Cordon Bleu Paris. She used to race her Mini Cooper. She was born in China and raised in Canada so she speaks, like, five languages. 

Janet and her husband currently live in Los Angeles, where she is working on her second novel and training to be a magician at The Magic Castle.
