I started out without any education or experience in audio post production as i studied electronic engineering which i had no interest in. However, upon discovering an interest towards the art of recording, i decided to pursue it further. I called studios after studios in my city hoping to get my foot in the door as an intern. Finally, one said yes to an interview and after months of following up and calling on a weekly basis, i landed an internship. That was the start of my career.

To move past internship into full time employment in the studio, i volunteered to do more in the studio, from washing dishes, getting clients' lunches, to line producing work and after 3 months, i got confirmed as a trainee audio engineer, to junior engineer and at my last employment, as a production manager. 

At the start of my journey in WASP Studios, one of the top studios in Malaysia then, we were working on music albums, features, commercials and tv series. I got exposed to a variety of audio work and there were senior engineers who guided me on sound designing and i grew to love storytelling using sounds. From an empty canvas to creating a world that sounds believable. 

Then, i moved on to Tribe Audio which focused mainly on long form contents from features to tv series. My work there can be seen on Cartoon Network, Netflix, Nickelodeon, Disney and many others. I even got the chance to do the ADR for The Good Wife. 

After a decade of working in a company, i left the comfort of employment to start my own audio post production company called Soundmob Enterprise. This has led me to work with many talented directors, producers and creators who i support in achieving their vision through the craft of sound designing and rerecording mixing.
