Co-founder, CEO and Creative Director; Revival Game studios; cool techie skilled in product management, front-end web design and product marketing who has been working on launching my company for the previous seven years. We have applied to six different local sources for funding since founding this company in 2017 and starting my entrepreneurial journey in 2015 but failed to secure funding. I have taken lot of small jobs to sustain my journey due to lack of support after skipping university to pursue this venture. Currently working part-time in the hospitality industry as a team supervisor of 9 staff and this year have managed to rent a place in Lagos which we intend to double as our studio workplace after incorporating same in 2021. My life is a tale of poverty and drifting poverty. I came from a financially stable family but a lot happened between the year 2008 and present. My Father a retired lecturer who was about to go into entrepreneurship became bedridden for 5 years in a stroke sickness which would end up draining most of our immediate & extended family resources until his eventual passing away in 2012. Mum also lost her bank job same year and ventured into a few unsuccessful businesses to put food on the table. I've lost aunts or more family members I either looked up who would have been a stepping stone to me. I didn't attend the privileged high school my family had planned for me, a school that gave deserving students an opportunity of a scholarship to study at an American university. I ended up in a more sub-standard one that eventually frittered away my passion for formal education, put me into fits of depression and led me on a path to blissful and life-long self-education. Currently I reside in a self-contain with my Mom and younger sister in one of the most water-logged areas of Oworonshoki. Mum has no stable job, cannot pay rent(bills) anymore without support from her children. We do not even own a tv anymore. These are not emotional blackmail but facts and facts can be verified. Nevertheless, this didn't quench my passion for learning, for reading, for voracious reading. Deep down in me I always wanted to be a creator, a maker. I had a passion to create something out of nothing and so I consumed. I consumed everything from books in my late Father's library down to the internet. Upon my possession of a mobile phone in the year 2013, I became a deep friend with the internet. All these qualities exploded upon my coming into contact with the smartphone in 2014, and the appworld and appstores in 2015. I knew I had to be a developer. I was lucky enough to find a friend with the same unique interests and desires and mine.
