Ilmari Hakkola is a game audio professional and entrepreneur with over two decades of experience in the game industry. He has founded several successful companies and brings a broad audiovisual background to his work, also in animation and visual effects.

He served as Head of Audio at Rovio Entertainment, where he created the audio brand of Angry Birds together with his sister Salla Hakkola, helping to raise the bar for what audio in live ops games can be. After Rovio, they co-founded Tonally, an audio company where they have composed music for hit games such as Clash of Clans and Merge Mansion, bringing a strong sense of identity and longevity to some of the world’s most played live ops games.
