I started my career as an assistant finance manager in Bank of China, where process, attention to detail and communication skills are critical in this role. In 2015, I decided to move to NZ and pursue higher education. I am a fast learner and a I finished my Master’s degree in International Business at AUT with first-class honour. My most recent experience is Website Admin at Whāraurau, which is an organization under UniService. This started as a 5-week contract role, but got extended quite a few times, so I worked there for about 5 months, I worked with both our internal team and external website development team to transform the old website to new one. I also worked as an Account Manager in a marketing agency, I manage 5 accounts, I communicate with clients on a daily basis to understand their needs, and collect feedback to ensure things are on track. I helped one of my clients to build their Shopify Website, setup Google Ads and Google Analytics and achieved nearly $50,000 revenue within half a year. I love technology, and digital stuff. Last year, I decided to change my career into IT. I received Datacom Scholarship, part of the Women in Tech Scholarship for my study. Currently, I’m studying Software Engineering at Yoobee Colleges and really enjoy it. Now, I’m looking for opportunities in IT filed to utilise my knowledge and skills.
