Hi! Im Hugo!

Having over a decade of experience in motion graphics, multimedia design, video editing, and more recently illustration, I am a highly motivated and creative Visual Storyteller.

The thing I enjoy most of all is getting goosebumps over a story well shown and told. Conveying emotion and meaning in my work is a passion I hold dearly, which makes me engage in a briefing as a sort of personal mission. 

I have worked with multiple industry leading software such as Adobe pack, C4D, Blender, DAZ, Procreate and Resolume Arena, among some others. I am comfortable enough around spreadsheet software which I have used for organizing workflow and pipelines, and other necessary text editing apps, as well as with chat and meeting apps.

My career as freelance and then as Art Director has led me to specialize in interpreting complex client briefs and translating them into narratives. I have also managed teams of creative professionals, signaling and tracing potential growth trajectories aligned with both the team members wants and aspirations and with company and team needs. I have also had the pleasure to coordinate and mediate workflows between different organizations in high scale projects such as UNHCR in documentary; and government and NGO funded partnership programs, delivering high end products and performances.
