From 2013, she worked with the inter media art institute Duesseldorf (imai, Germany) on the digitisation of video art and the development of a video art database. In 2018, she co-founded Eizo Workshop LLC in Kaga City, Ishikawa, with Noriyuki Kimura. Their work focuses on "unearthing dormant cultural and artistic resources and connecting them to the creativity of future generations."

In June 2025, she was selected by Forbes JAPAN “NEXT 100” as one of the 100 People of Hope Saving the World.

Recent curated exhibitions include Telexplosion: The Melancholy of the Television Kingdom in the 1980s—MTV, Jumbotron, INFERMENTAL (21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa / Goethe-Institut Tokyo, 2020), and Cityscapes in Anime Background Art (Yoshiro and Yoshio Taniguchi Museum of Architecture, Kanazawa, 2023).
She currently serves as Curatorial Researcher for SIAF Lab 2022–2024 (Sapporo International Art Festival Lab), and runs both the Toshio Iwai Archive & Research and the Kaga Community Archive Project “Kagaga.”
She is also a part-time lecturer at Kanazawa College of Art and Kyoto Seika University.
