Biography
Heena Chaudhary
Architect & Computational Designer
I’m a computational designer and architect from India with a passion for bridging aesthetics and function through procedural design. My journey began with a bachelor's in architecture, which laid the foundation for my deep curiosity about form, function, and future-forward technologies. After working at ARINEM Consultancy in Lucknow, I had the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to major urban development projects, including the redevelopment of Gorakhpur, Mathura, and Kashi railway stations, as well as a tribal school for the Government of Madhya Pradesh. These projects demanded technical precision, creative solutions, and close collaboration across disciplines—lessons I carry into every new challenge.
To explore design beyond traditional boundaries, I pursued a master's in Computational and Advanced Design at DesignMorphine (UACEG, Bulgaria). There, I designed Ascensio, a fully imagined 3D virtual city and transportation ecosystem, which allowed me to experiment with non-destructive workflows, digital prosthetics, and speculative futures.
I specialize in procedural modeling, 3D visualization, and architectural storytelling using tools like Unreal Engine 5, Rhino, Houdini, Grasshopper, ZBrush, Blender, and more. I’m especially drawn to design problems where code meets creativity, and I love crafting experiences that are not only functional but transformative.
Currently freelancing and navigating a creative career from India, I’ve faced the challenges of an industry that often undervalues architectural and digital design talent. Discovering THU Career Camp was a beacon of hope—a chance to connect with like-minded visionaries, learn from global mentors, and, most importantly, find an environment where I can thrive and grow sustainably.
I’m here to turn the page—to rewrite my story with the help of this incredible community. THU, to me, represents a new beginning. One where unicorns are real, and the future we imagine can actually be built.

Ascensio - Creating a virtual 3D protopian world
This project involved designing a unique hybrid being and its companion, along with their habitat and clustered neighborhoods. It expanded to planning a fully functioning city with diverse residents and a transportation system, integrating architecture and urban planning. Ascensio showcases a futuristic world and a non-destructive design workflow, emphasizing the transformative potential of prosthetic design and the cultural symbolism of technological enhancements.

EcoTransit: Eco Sustainable Interstate Bus Terminal
Location : Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India.
Site Area : 14.5 Acres
Projected footfall : 40,000 (Approx.)
Concept : ‘Fusion’ of vernacular architectural techniques of Awadh architecture and ecologically sustainable construction techniques of modern architecture. The aim was to design it as an ecologically sustainable building due to the challening air quality of the metro city Lucknow and also to combat the prevailing conditions of bus terminals in India, with keeping in mind the elements of Awadh architecture like Harem windows and arches.
