Hi, I'm very into 3D sculpting, modeling and animation. I also dabble in C# programming.

Biography

I am a final year Game Arts and Animation student where I have been honing my 3D skills further for the past 3 years. I made my start in 3D during secondary school where I procured an interest into the visual development of games, I picked up 3DS Max and Mudbox during this time as I found they had student licenses, playing around which grew my curiosity and interest for 3D art. Around this time there was also a deal on Clickteam Fusion 2.5 which is where I got my first experience of building a game, albeit with 2D limitations. These games were beyond clunky and had no thought for design but they were a portal to how doable it is to just build something you think of.

After these years of playing around with 3D software and limited engines I began further education in college where I studied a platitude of design types in a single course, my main focus being on the game arts path. This course cemented my choice with what I wanted to do with my future and was the timeframe in which I had met David Kuo, a Canadian character sculptor and modeller. Kuo was a mentor to me for learning Maya and basic character sculpting nudging me from sculpting blobs with terrifying features to noticeably more human characters.

After finishing college I went on to look for software that was free or more affordably priced as I took a gap year before persuing university. Early in the gap year I took the chance to learn Blender which has been my animation and rendering software since. I learned more about rendering, material creation and texture painting than my previous years working with autodesk products due to the friendlier learning content available. I had also picked up Zbrush ready for when I started my course at university as I knew that sculpting was a major interest of mine and that Blenders sculpting tools were a bit lackluster at the time. Zbrush is one of my favourite tools to use with the amount of work that can be created with using just a few of it's features.

So far studying through university has lead me to want to work with 3D character creation.
