Grace Hanna is a Filipino-Egyptian writer and director.

 Grace was awarded a yearlong fellowship with ArtsConnection in NYC, selected for the Can Serrat Writer Residency in Catalonia, Spain, and completed a mentorship program in Manila under F. Sionil Jose. Their short films were selected for the Hollywood Independent Filmmaker Festival and Disney's AWIT Challenge. In addition, their screenplay was a quarter-finalist for the Sundance/Sloan development grant. 

Grace has been a director's assistant on Aquarius (NBC) and Chance (Hulu). In addition, they have taught screenwriting and cinema studies, emphasizing the importance of intersectionality and diverse storytelling. They graduated from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, where they studied Film & TV and Art & Public Policy. Grace is currently a directing fellow at the American Film Institute.
