I am a driven and detail-oriented designer, passionate about storytelling and exploring how to best connect with people through visual content.

My biomedical background allows me to understand how to best translate complex topics into compelling visuals and adapt it to specific target audiences.

Through my experience in creative work, scientific research and event organization, I developed strong communication and management skills that allow me to handle multiple projects in parallel, while consistently meeting deadlines.

My long-term mission is to work towards the education of the general public about science, in order to increase engagement, stimulate critical thinking and promote a better informed society.

I am originally from Portugal but have lived abroad for the past 10+ years and I am now based in San Francisco after living in Sweden for a long period.
