Having worked at Jagex for only two years, I am a fairly new addition to the industry. I work as a Junior Character Artist on Old School RuneScape, which is an amazing position that comes with a great deal of responsibility: I am able to design my own characters, model, rig and animate them, and perform some level of game-implementation. Although this is very unusual, it is facilitated by the small team size and very retro low-poly requirements of the game engine. I am super passionate about encouraging anyone wishing to enter the games industry and am happy to answer any and all questions! I would love to look at portfolios and can give feedback on both finished and WIP art, as well as advice regarding art tests and getting your foot in the door.
