George Lou Bon is an East London based musician, pole dancer and visual artist. Much of their art tells the story of their life as a disabled, queer, femme of colour. Themes range from sexual harassment to chronic pain to intersectionality and more. They find it important to create using multiple disciplines, often using one medium to inspire another. George Lou writes deeply political songs that rummage through their experiences as a person who embodies many intersections of minority groups. They also compose instrumental pieces which they use as a foundation to choreograph pole dance performances. George Lou often creates expressionist and abstract pieces of art, often as a method of processing the chronic pain and brain fog associated with their Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and Multiple Sclerosis. They work in body paint, watercolour, fine-liner and acrylic paint.
