Geon (Gunn) Joo shin is a Korean illustrator and visual development artist specializing in background design in Animation. He has 2+ years of experience in freelance illustration and digital painting and has a strong passion and fascination for designing environments for animated feature films. He is currently a lead colorist at BATCAT Studio in California for their upcoming animated short film, and a volunteering member of Asians in Animation for their community team, supporting fellow artists/members from all disciplines by co-hosting interactive group sessions throughout the seasons.
