Biography
Hi! I'm Francesca, graduated in Fine Arts in Turin (Italy) where during those years my skills and interests developed a lot. As I truly love studying the History of Art and Fine arts I dedicated my interests most in that, in particular to the study of painting. and sculpture. Thanks to the course, I also started drawing from life, so even now I always have a sketchbook to record what it’s happening around me and to learn human gestures, which is my favourite thing to represent. After graduation, I was sure that I wanted to continue my studies in Art, I was just looking for a way to express myself and my imagination at the best. From 2019, I live in London to work and study and got a place at “Kingston University” in the Illustration and Animation undergraduate course, where I fell in love with animation, as I was able to combine everything I like to do and above all, give life to my stories. During these 3 years, I had the opportunity to work as a freelancer alongside my university studies, for example working for two London filmmakers, where they commissioned me 2 animations scenes for their short film “Let’s Dance Again” on the theme of Alzheimer’s. In 2021 I participated in the MONSTRA Lisbon Animation Festival, wherewith my team made a 4-minute animated short, screened during the festival. Going forward with my studies, I would like to work in the animation industry. To have a look at my works click on my website: https://francescafanigliulo.myportfolio.com/work Thank you!
