Filipa is a Portuguese animator currently based in London. She has recently graduated from her Master degree in Character Animation from Central Saint Martins. Before that, she studied at Cambridge School of Art, doing a BA in Illustration and Animation. Filipa specialises in 2D hand drawn animation because this allows her to merge the two things she enjoys the most: drawing and storytelling. Above anything else, Filipa loves interesting and complex characters that speak to the audience, and who are able to make people feel and relate to the character’s emotions. Filipa loves good storytelling, in any medium and genre - which is why she spends way too much time consuming these stories on Netflix. Filipa aims to get more experience to learn to become a storyteller like the ones she admires.
