From an early age, I knew I wanted to pursue the magic world of animation. Being able to give life to unanimated, unimaginable and nonexistent characters fascinates me. Nothing is impossible in animation, even unicorns and dragons can exist. In my bachelor degree I had the opportunity to experiment with many forms of art, but the love for animation only increased. While I was studying, I started in the animated feature film "Fátima and the Secret Treasure" which was being animated by Platige Image. Everything was fascinating, so I decided to deepen my knowledge and moved to Lisbon to take my Master Degree in Arts of Animation. I there got the chance to meet the wonderful José Miguel Ribeiro, who then invited me to manage the production of his animated feature film "Nayola". Everyday feels like a dream and it has been the best experience of my life so far. I get the chance to work beside José Miguel everyday, see his amazing piece of art come to life and be part of it. This film is a co-production between 5 studions - Praça Filmes (Portugal), S.O.I.L (Belgium), JPL Films (France), Il Luster (Netherlands) and Luna Blue Films (Belgium). I have built production breakdowns and schedules for every team, do a daily check up on the status of each shot and ensure the communication between teams and studios. Also, there is a lot of space for creative opinions and discussions which make me grow and I get to learn on a daily basis. With this, producing has been growing on me and I have really found a passion in working with our amazing teams and managing this production. I'm very much looking forward to the next opportunity, to learn a more and more and to work on the production of animated films.
