Biography
I’m a Bengali Canadian illustrator, born in Dhaka & raised in Toronto. I love to use art to give voices to underrepresented communities and share unique perspectives. After studying illustration at Sheridan College, I’m currently working as a Background Painter at Sphere Animation and taking on various freelance projects.
Bright colours, fun graphics and bold ideas—I enjoy pushing boundaries and always bringing something fresh to the table.

Background Painter
Sphere Animation (Remote)
Paints layouts on Photoshop and exports backgrounds for Harmony, ensuring that the style and quality of the backgrounds remains consistent throughout. Collaborates with other artists and art director.

Alumnae Theatre (Toronto, Canada)
Volunteered at a local theatre, collaborating with directors, producers, lighting and set departments. Supported theatre staff to design, create and maintain set props and furniture.

Accomplished creating a short animated film as an intern, in collaboration with other students and studio artists. Designed and painted backgrounds in Photoshop in a fast-paced production setting.

Headed large-scale presentations with over 100 participants and worked in teams to prepare events for students. Supervised student groups and encouraged new students to be involved in the community.

Facilitator
Toronto Animation Film Festival (Remote)
Successfully facilitated the first ever ‘virtual’ TAAFI by collaborating with a team of staff and volunteers. Directed and answered questions of festival attendees on Discord.

Managed volunteers to ensure over 200 meals were being processed smoothly every week during the COVID-19 pandemic. Mentored and trained volunteers and new recruits.
