Biography
I carry with me the heritage of Korean diaspora, and the family stories and folktales my parents told me when I was young has impacted my interests and my art. Having never been an excellent speaker or writer (yet), drawing has become a medium that I could use to contribute my own part to the stories from my childhood and the tales I have heard since.
My family has moved several times within the United States but I consider my childhood home to be the suburbs of the Denver Metropolitan area, where my parents still reside. I graduated with BS in Biology with honors (Microbes & Immunity) from Stanford University in 2020, and have been working at the Stanford School of Medicine on infectious disease research since then. I enjoy my work but I also wish to pursue my dreams and transition into a career in animation or games.
In my free time, I enjoy taking care of my plants, taking walks, and noodling around.
