Ella Chikezie is a new generation award-winning poet, screenwriter, copywriter, animator and filmmaker. She believes in the dynamic power of visual storytelling and was shortlisted for Access banks accelerate filmmaker project and the African International Film Festival (AFRIFF) screenwriting program in 2019. In January 2020, she was also one of the beneficiaries for Ladima Foundation and DW Akademie (Germany) Women in Animation program. She currently works as a copywriter and producer at Orange VFX studios, a Pan African digital content production company in Nigeria. Ella hopes to inspire change and unite people within Africa and across the globe by re-telling the African narrative and is very passionate about creating world-class movies, games and animation films. Since 2019, she has written, produced and directed over 6 short films/animation, over 15 Tv commercials and has more projects coming in 2021. She also has 6 months experience working as a production assistant in the popular Nigerian TV show, "Unbroken", an African Magic original show and was one of the African Union Agenda 2063 documentary project writers.
